PC Support I

Job Description
SnapIT Solutions is seeking a PC Support I Technician to provide hands-on and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, and end-user devices. This role supports staff and students in a dynamic, technology-driven environment by ensuring efficient hardware and software performance, maintaining IT assets, and assisting users with day-to-day technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
Provide end-user support for desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, and common applications.
Support conference room equipment, AV setups, and IT Walk-Up users.
Configure and maintain laptops, PCs, printers, iOS, and Android devices.
Manage and prioritize incidents using a ticketing system.
Support account provisioning, device configuration, and software installation.
Maintain accurate documentation and inventory of IT assets.
Communicate effectively with users of varying technical skill levels.
Participate in occasional on-site visits or special projects as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred).
1–3 years of experience in IT end-user support.
Working knowledge of Windows 11, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Intune.
Experience maintaining laptop/PC and printer hardware.
Familiarity with iOS and Android devices.
Strong customer-service and communication skills.
Ability to organize multiple requests and maintain an orderly workspace.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCDST) are a plus.
Valid driver’s license required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
Comfortable bending, kneeling, and working in tight spaces.
Work Environment
Primarily office-based with occasional on-site or remote work.
Regular travel within the Kansas City area and surrounding regions; company vehicles are provided.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Additional hours may be required for support or maintenance.)
Salary & Details
Start Date: November 17, 2025
End Date: November 13, 2026
Salary: $52,000 / year.
