IT Asset Management Analyst I
About Us:
SnapIT Solutions is seeking an IT Asset Management Analyst I to support the warehouse operations of our client's IT hardware lifecycle process. This role is vital for managing technology assets and contributing to the mitigation of financial and legal risks associated with vendor compliance.
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the IT Asset Management Analyst I is responsible for the ongoing warehouse operations related to the IT life-cycle process for hardware technology assets throughout our client's organization. This role supports the IT Asset Management (ITAM) practice by helping to mitigate financial and/or legal risks associated with vendor compliance, identifying potential cost savings opportunities related to hardware & support, and improving negotiation positions with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage shipping, receiving, distributing, tracking, and reconciling POs or service requests for all IT asset hardware (50% of time).
Facilitate data disposition and ensure compliance with all NERC/CIP regulatory requirements for hardware asset management (10% of time).
Act as a conduit between ITAM and other departments to provide timely access to IT hardware deployment and related accessories (5% of time).
Assist with the operations of division policies, processes, and procedures for effective hardware lifecycle management (acquisition through retirement or re-use) leveraging the Asset Manager solution, and help ensure company adoption (10% of time).
Perform other duties as required, including hardware related purchases.
Work on-site within a warehouse environment.
May be required to drive a company vehicle to deliver equipment to other locations as needed.
Mandatory Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year of recent experience in a warehouse environment.
Ability to occasionally stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods of time; may also be required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to lift, move, and carry between 10-50 pounds if required to perform essential job functions.
Must have a valid Driver's License.
Ability to complete NERC CIP screening requirements.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
General understanding of SOX compliance.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, detailed and goal-oriented, and an innovative thinker.
Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and help influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries.
Reliable, accountable, and flexible.
Experience with IT data analysis techniques (using Excel, PeopleSoft, and ServiceNow).
Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Ability to prioritize system-generated (ServiceNow) tasks based on criticality and meet deadlines.
Previous warehouse experience and experience with the use of ticketing systems or other inventory management systems.
Prior IT experience in addition to warehouse experience will be considered a plus.
No less than 1 year of experience for items listed in the skill matrix.
Work Environment & Details:
This is an on-site warehouse position, located in Topeka, KS.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday.
Parking: The candidate will be required to obtain their own parking for this position.
Company Car Usage: Yes.
Mileage Reimbursement: Mileage reimbursement will be provided according to our client's policy if the candidate is required to drive their personal vehicle to an alternate working location.
Overtime (OT) Required: No.
Travel Required: No.

Start Date: August 4, 2025
End Date: July 31, 2026
Duration: Approximately 52 weeks.

Compensation:
$43,076 - $45,076 / year.
