SnapIT Solutions has a full-time opening for an experienced Scrum Master. We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in implementing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for our local client. As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the adoption of Agile practices and principles, promoting collaboration, and driving the successful delivery of our projects. Your expertise in SAFe will be crucial in ensuring our organization's ability to scale Agile across various teams and projects. This is a 80-20% (remote-onsite) hybrid working position in the KC metropolitan area OR 100% remote for candidates outside the metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a dedicated Scrum Master for 2 Agile teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and delivery excellence.

• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring full team participation and effective communication.

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, ensuring the creation and maintenance of well-defined and prioritized backlogs.

• Apply SAFe principles to enable successful collaboration, alignment, and coordination across multiple Agile teams, ensuring the overall program objectives are met.

• Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles, practices, and methodologies, fostering a culture of self-organization and accountability.

• Identify and address impediments, removing roadblocks to enable the team's progress and maintain a sustainable pace of work.

• Monitor and report on team performance using relevant metrics, encouraging a data-driven approach to continuous improvement.

• Work collaboratively with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to share best practices and drive the evolution of Agile practices within the organization.

• Participate in Agile and SAFe community of practice activities, contributing to the development of Agile maturity within the company.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification required. SAFe certifications (SAFe SM, SAFe SSM) strongly preferred.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience working as a dedicated Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.

• Proven experience in implementing and scaling Agile practices, particularly with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

• Strong facilitation skills, capable of leading Agile ceremonies and fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams.

• Excellent understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, with a focus on servant leadership and empowerment.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively conveying complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to identify and resolve conflicts, promoting a positive team atmosphere and a continuous improvement mindset.

• Proficiency in using Agile project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) to manage and track team activities.

• Demonstrated ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

• Previous experience in the banking industry is a plus.
