Web Analytics Specialist

SnapIT Solutions has a full-time opening for an experienced Web Analytics Specialist. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented person with excellent web analytics skills to work collaboratively with our federal government customer. This is a remote working position.

Job Description/Responsibilities

Apply qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to provide detailed analyses, and communication products for target audiences

  • Produce data analytics reports that measure success related to marketing or communications campaigns and business goals

  • Utilize digital analytics, search engine optimization data and metrics to maximize the effectiveness of digital content and communications to improve user experience, online program service delivery, and identify actual or potential problem areas impacting performance and customer experience.

  • Develop key customer experience metrics and KPIs, measuring, and reporting on content performance, optimizing content, supporting, and training on editorial best practices for online digital content.

  • Collect and synthesize information from a variety of stakeholders and sources including but not limited to Google Analytics (or similar tool) and customer satisfaction surveys, and use data to uncover trends, preferences and other information that can be used to improve customer experience.

  • Advise staff on the most effective methods for presenting their content via digital communications channels (web, email, social media) using complex information, business knowledge, and strategic assumptions when data does not exist.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage data and technology to deliver better outcomes using dynamic, personalized content.

  • Develop strategic communication and outreach plans using “new media” and web-based content.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have experience and proficiency in:

  • Defining problems, collecting, and analyzing data, establishing facts, and drawing site optimization recommendations.

  • Applying new digital technologies and working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of, and skill in applying reporting and analytics methods and best practices

  • Skill in communicating both orally and in writing

  • Knowledge of web, email, and social media analytics

  • Web analytics

  • Power BI data skills to build out metrics and dashboards

  • SharePoint fluency

  • Website publishing

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3-5 years of experience
